The other day I was at the airport and saw some military families waiting to meet their loved ones. One family particularly stood out.
I noticed a Mom with her 3 or 4 year old daughter anxiously waiting at the bottom of the escalator. I watched them wait, and suddenly the little girl shouted “DADDY!!!” and threw her colored handmade sign as she sprinted to give her Dad a hug.
The guy behind him, who was another passenger on the flight and not part of the military also witnessed the scene. He looked over to what appeared to be his co-worker and said, “Man, my life is easy.” And I thought to myself, ya know what dude, you’re right.
You’re right.
